Properly naming and describing images for SEO

One of the easiest and often overlooked optimization opportunities is the actual image file names themselves. Those should use a few carefully chosen keywords – ideally, keywords the image could rank for – while omitting stop words (a, the, in, of, etc.) and separating keywords by hyphens.

Image ALT and title attributes are the next simplest settings that not only help images rank higher in search, but also build the page’s relevancy and improve user experience.

5 EASY STEPS TO IMAGE OPTIMIZATION ↓

1. Choose Photos
2. Rename Filename to include a Keyword
3. Use Google for additional Keywords Ideas
4. Upload to Website
5. Add ALT Text
